Years of civil war have rent the human kingdom of Kirhana in two. Each side’s ruler seeks dominance and control, but as the two kingdoms vie for power, the rightful heir to the throne of Kirhana arises out of hiding. Only the city of Crusand remains free, and there he raises his banner. Threatened by the High King’s return, both rulers unite and march on Crusand. Will the walls of the city protect the fledgling king, or will the hope of a united kingdom be swept away beneath the onslaught?
