Azalea Millet was born in Queens, New York to Cuban exile parents in April, 1969. After completing a Liberal Arts degree, she relocated with her family to Miami, Florida, where she met her husband, Rolando. In 2001, the couple made an adventurous move to Los Angeles, where they currently reside. She describes herself as an "accidental artist" since her passion for art simply snuck up on her when she took a risk to try something new and enrolled in a drawing class. That was when she discovered a talent she never knew she had and quickly developed her own unique style, working with various media and techniques.
