Michael Putzel is a distinguished journalist who witnessed and wrote about many of the most dramatic events of his generation. He was a war correspondent in Vietnam, covered the Watergate scandal in Washington, worked as a White House correspondent during three presidencies and directed the AP's coverage of the fall of communism from Moscow. His eye-witness report alerted the world to the shooting of President Ronald Reagan. He is at work on a biography of a Vietnam-era air cavalry commander. See: www.michaelputzel.com William K.
