Nebabu Tadesse, also known as Teddy X, was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. At the age of fourteen, he moved to New York City where he eventually studied Fine Arts and Commercial Illustration at the famed Fashion Institute of Technology. Though most of his early professional career leaned towards the creation of large scale paintings and murals, the last ten years, seven of which have been in Addis Ababa, have allowed Teddy X to channel his artistic energy towards the area of mass communication, primarily through print advertising and branding. He has created and developed many high end advertising images, logos and slogans for various companies, organizations and NGOs. He currently works and resides in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
