Patrick was born in 1992. He is the son of Nicholas and Tracy Hinson. He grew up in a large family with four older sisters and a younger brother and a large extended family. Patrick was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome and High-Functioning Autism Disorder at an early age. In the Seventh Grade Patrick Joined Cross Country Running and now trains for marathons and half-marathons as he enjoys running long distances. Patrick’s mother taught him to read through fantasy novels and that has been his preferred genre alongside sci-fi (Hunger Games and 1984). Patrick started off reading C.S. Lewis, Chronicles of Narnia and Brian Jacques, Redwall series. Patrick was and still is most fascinated by the world of J.R.R. Tolkien’s books, the lands of Beleriand, Valinor, Numenor, and Middle Earth. He grew up playing Zelda and Final Fantasy video games. In the Tenth grade Patrick had one assignment that was to write a four page medieval fantasy story. It is from that four page story that Aetier Legend
