Manuel Luís Cochofel lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal. He started photographing in 2000 and soon moved from small to medium format and shortly after to large format. Most of his present work revolves around portraiture, done in his small studio in the heart of Lisbon and using mostly a large format camera (4x5). Cochofel won already several photography prizes in his country and exhibits regularly.
