I have been involved in photography for more years than I care to think about. Needless to say, I come from the time when prints were still made in the darkroom. For many years I hovered above trays in my darkroom, trying to make the perfect print. I make both black and white as well as color prints. Now that digital is here, I am completely immersed with this new technology. In my mind, I think digital is about 90 percent the quality of traditional photography. It will soon equal the quality of film. With digital it makes the job of the photographer much easier and allows him/her to concentrate on their art.
