This is a collection of my photos of Hampi, Karnataka, India, taken between 2006 and 2012. The village is being removed in order to "protect" the monuments, but this will also remove the spirit of the place that has made it so compelling to so many visitors from all over the world. A dead museum will never achieve that again. These are photos of how I want to remember Hampi.



There are still many people left homeless from the first and second rounds of demolition. I am selling the e-version of this book for $5, $4 of which will be donated to providing food or other provisions for those families (the other $1 is kept by Blurb).
