Many people coming to the theater see the halls that are brightly illumined, beautiful lights, the unique decoration style of the rooms, but only few visitors have an idea that the theater goes beyond all of these and has other beautiful places in it being unique in their own way.

These are places where the whole staff of the theater, artists and musicians work and go every day. With their inner energy, these places are much more powerful than the “front” side. Each of them keeps some history and lives its own life.
And when you plunge into this inner space and go through all of its labyrinths, passages and nooks, you come to forget where you are: the outer theater and the inner theater become two poles of a whole, and you cannot understand anymore which of them is the main side.

In the course of two seasons, I was observing the interior life of the theater, and I was aspiring to record my impressions in the photos, the atmosphere that I felt when I was discovering more and more new facets, sometimes unexpected, of this enormous organism.




Многие, приходя в театр, видят ярко освещенные холлы, красивый свет, уникальное убранство помещений, но мало кто задумывается, что это не весь театр, что есть места не менее красивые и в своем роде уникальные. Это те места, по которым ежедневно ходят артисты, музыканты и огромный коллектив театра. По своей энергетике эти места намного сильнее «парадного» вида. Каждое такое место несет историю, оно живет само по себе.

И окунаясь в это внутреннее пространство со всеми лабиринтами, переходами, многочисленными закоулками, ты уже забываешь, где ты находишься — театр внешний и театр внутренний становятся разными полюсами одного целого, и не понятно, что же главнее. На протяжении двух сезонов я наблюдал за внутренней жизнью театра, стараясь передать на снимках то впечатление и ту атмосферу, которые я испытывал, открывая для себя новые, порой неожиданные, грани этого огромного организма.
