The book is a comprehensive record of the life and works of the famous Welsh artist Thomas Nathaniel Davies. There are well over 300 illustrations of his work spread over 240 pages. The book starts with his early figurative paintings and drawings and then documents his changing styles leading to hard-edged abstraction in the 1970's before returning to narrative themes in the 1990s
