Have you ever questioned your identity? Have you ever lost a loved one? Have you ever been the victim of unrequited love? Have you ever struggled to do what you know is right? COVENANT MAN is a debut poetry book by British-Nigerian Kelechi Iwumene that explores these questions. A covenant is fundamentally a binding agreement between two consensual individuals. This project investigates what it means to make covenant with spouse, with family, with tribe, with country, and with God. 'British' is translated 'covenant-man.' Kelechi embarks on a unique exploration of identity and a nuanced expression of faith. Its about how we find who we are through who or what we are loyal to.
