And if you know me at all, you know that I haven’t rode a rollercoaster in years and riding passenger seat in any vehicle is sickening. As a grown adult, I felt like the universe has thrown me back on the Boss - the extremely unstable looking, and oh-so-exciting new rollercoaster my mom made me ride with her after waiting in line for an hour and a half at Six Flags St. Louis. Malignant Brain Tumor. Stage 4 Cancer. Grade 4. Glioblastoma Multiforme. I’ll let you Google the prognosis. I’m still dizzy, nauseated, and very much prepared to keep my mother in a vice-like grip. As a way to distract myself (and raise money for travel expenses / taking time off during mom's treatments), I have focused on doing what my mother has always yelled at - I mean gently encouraged - me to do with my skills.
