When we met in 2005 we'd both recently returned home from amazing around the world adventures and we instantly began recounting our stories and how we longed for the road again, and how we both had an ultimate goal of visiting all seven continents.

Somehistory was how we summed up our first few weeks together, we had a whirlwind romance, with a lot in common, mainly adventure and travel! and all our relationship needed was some history.

After a few years of saving we left the UK together to embark on our 9 month journey around Central and South America, with an amazing side trip to Antarctica, completing our life long dream.

We got engaged in Antarctica, and when we returned from our trip made arrangements for the wedding, it was during this time that I (Rick) made this book with photos and excerts from our blog (http://www.rickanddolly.com) and gave it to Dolly the night before our wedding.
