À propos du livre
In her poetry, supplemented by photographs of one very special hound, Anna Mozga explores the only topics really worth thinking and writing about: life, death, love.
À propos du créateur
Anna Mozga lives in an old crooked house on a small farm in rural Ontario. Among her current best friends are Vaněk, the redbone coonhound (featured in this book, but representing not only himself) who can leap tall fences and counter-tops with ease if there is something remotely edible on the other side or on top; Mietz, barn cat Augustine's child (father unknown), who has left her mark(s) in every part of this house, in particular the carpet on the stairs, and whose acute sense of time (breakfast or dinner, that is) makes clocks redundant; Molly, the sweetest Bernese x Golden, who only arrived recently and who at 15 is full of sweetness and grace, facing her health challenges without complaint; and, just up the drive in the barn and horse paddocks, C.C. and Zorro, Sundance and Hopi, who bring their special spirit to the place. Living on in the heart alone, the ones who will not pass this way again:Sukkah, Aysha, Merlin, Cookie; Augustine and Barney; Murphy and Blume.
