(softcover version) 'Lens & Pen From the Isles of Shoals' is a small collection of poems and images from the islands, as well as a short history of the Shoals and information about some of its most memorable residents and its folklore. The book has been written and assembled by two artists local to the New Hampshire seacoast.



The book is to be a companion to the wanderer, around the Isles of Shoals. Or it may awaken a personal memory of a stay at the Oceanic Hotel, or as a caretaker in one of the other island cottages, or maybe of a summer night in Gosport Harbor. As the pelicans chant, "You will come back," in spirit, if not in body.
