À propos du livre
Road burn is a travel zine created by two LA-based television producers during a long-term travel job. This issue includes photos from seven months spent living and working in the Nevada desert.
The photos in this issue are primarily from Nevada, but also from trips taken to places of interest nearby in California and Utah. Through this issue we hope you get the sense of what it felt like, as city dwellers, to settle into the desert for an extended period of time. In our free time we explored dying towns, ghost towns, and tourist towns; from national parks to trailer parks.
All photos are shot on Fuji Instax film with cheap plastic cameras. We embrace the bittersweet medium of film - where you figure things out like framing and exposure through trial and error. Only problem is, your roll is finite, just like every moment in time.
