I would like to know that this penned inner life of mine is thought-provoking, or gentle, a cure (not a curse) for others, even if we are surrounded by betrayal and suspicion, not knowing if Life will allow us to fall in love again. And if I can touch one single heart of a reader, I can say that I've reached my goal. Every poem is filled with my spirit, some of them are nostalgic, at times even desperate. Several of these poems were penned when I was blindly in love, when romance blossomed everywhere, some of them were written in the darkest period of my life, with rivers of tears in my eyes. Life has played unpredictable games in the past with my heart and the world around me knew nothing about it until I put them on paper. When disaster kicked from every direction, poetry was the only one able to save my soul from despair. Still, Life was understanding with me and gave me another chance to be happy. I am thankful for that!
