The thought of combining High Fashion with nature is ethereal. Fashion crafted by minds and hands of amazingly talented designers, nature crafted by an amazing and talented being greater than ourselves. Bringing these together was filled with Beauty, brawn, tears, laughter, joy, sorrow and the Beach.

BEAUTY AND THE BEACH event was produced by Robert Owen and Ada Gabriela of Decus Naturalis Studios on Big Lake in the small community of Albion, Indiana. A place foreign to high fashion, but abundant in the beauty of peaceful nature. A sprawling lake setting filled with people from all walks of life, flora and fauna not typical to the hustle and bustle of high fashion venues like New York, Milan or Paris. A quiet and serene setting filled with sounds of birds chirping, frogs croaking and the hypnotic rhythm of wind and water.

Fashion was provided by Cupani Fashion, designer Lacie Cupani, Reyna Monroe Fashion, designer Scarlett Brown and Seeker of Sunshine Fashion, designer Danielle Yoder. Jewelry was hand crafted by Knotty & Nyce, designer Tiffany Krizo. Stunning models and gifted photographers sojourned from the heartland of America where homes and hearts were opened with tender affection to afford the beauty that traveled long and lovingly, a chance to share this slice of slow-paced splendor.

Interesting phrase, "Beauty"! How do you define beauty? In this Special Issue 2018 August , we focus on "Beauty" Beauty comes from our hearts or souls! It's not the size or shape of our bodies that matters. What matters is that we are happy with ourselves and can accept that beauty comes in all sizes, shapes and forms, since beauty comes from within.
