The collaborative project Drapeaux (2018) with artists Claudia van der Linde, Helena Jansz and photographer Isabelle van Zon, consists of a visual and auditory experience. More than forty friends were asked to record a text that was important to them.
The book stands on its own and is more than a beautiful report of this project.

The price is just for printing, no profits for the artists.

Helena Jansz

Subjects are close to myself and present themselves spontaneously. The camera is my medium that allows me to translate reality into the magical world of sober black and white. Helena Jansz is a writer, visual artist, teacher and inspirer. After her education at the art academy, she exhibits her work and enters into collaborative projects with other artists. From 2000 Helena publishes short stories and in 2009 she starts writing for a photo magazine. For this she makes interviews and articles and portrays photographers. She also makes her own photo series and photo books. Wishing to share her passion for writing, she founded the Writing Atelier at the end of 2015 at the Fluxus cultural center in Zaandam.
