Inhabitants of the Danube delta live contentedly without much material possessions. People live there close to nature, without suffering 'civilized' diseases like stress, heart diseases and burn-out. But is the delta really 'the garden of Eden' we've lost already long ago? For a long period authorities haven't been interested in the area, reason for the inhabitants to say 'In the delta we are the first to see the
sunrise, but the last to see justice.' This book of images wants to offer a glimpse into the lives of these delta inhabitants.
