Most of us got into ministry because God did something profound in our lives and we wanted the people around us to experience the new life we enjoy. That desire became the motivation fueling our efforts to reach others. It’s at this very point that many ministry leaders get tripped up. Our desire to impact others, if not built upon a Biblical foundation with the long term in mind, will hinder the disciple making process.
