Stuart J. McGregor was born in 1944 and has a lifelong adoration and love for Tuxedo Park. Stuart and his wife moved to Miami, Florida in 1976 where they raised a family and he successfully practiced trial law for over twenty-five years. In 1998, he left the practice of law and worked in investor relations before starting up a sports related business. Now retired, Stuart remains active writing, traveling, and playing golf. He resides in Coral Gables, Florida but keeps a home in Tuxedo Park and has returned every summer and fall for the past thirty years. For over seventy years Stuart has returned to Tuxedo to reflect on its history and spend time with relatives and friends who never left this wonderful place. He has self-published personal travel books such as England & Scotland, A Journey Back, 1985; Maine & Nova Scotia, 2011; and Newport, A Return to the Gilded Age, 2013. His books on Tuxedo Park history in 2017 and The Wee Wah Beach Club in Tuxedo Park was just published in 2024.
