For ten years we walked the ‘megometre’ – family patois for a loop around the block. Which specifically meant: I’m taking the dog out, through Fisherman’s Walk, along the cliff-top, and back through Woodland Walk.
As we walked, a daughter grew up, a son arrived; Southbourne sprouted with hipsters and the homeless. I took lots of photographs, on my phone mostly, of nothing in particular.
