Ringside is a photographic project that was formed from a past personal experience. It takes an inside look of a boxing program that is run for the individuals of the community. The viewers are able to see the interactions between the members, as they form their own little community where they can work on their own or work together. The project is meant to publicize this boxing program and others like it in a way that informs youths and other community members that opportunities like this exist and it allows them to participate in such programs and better themselves as individuals. It is also meant to inspire community members to give back, whether through donations to the gym or by simply volunteering, whether it be at this specific location or other community centers in their area or around the world.
