Dear MEG is written for Sylvia's three Grand-daughters, Maggie, Etta, and Georgie, but is dedicated to Pam, her beautiful sister who tragically passed away in June 2014. The grief was so hard to bear that Sylvia decided to write about her life with Pam when they were growing up in England. It became so therapeutic for her, the writing lasted three years and became Dear MEG ... memoirs of her life ... and the grief became so much easier to bear.

Sylvia is donating part of the proceeds from the PDF and E-Reader versions of the book to charities assisting Suicide Prevention and Womens' Mental Health.
