À propos du livre
As a child, and even now, I have always loved listening to my grandparents talk about their pasts and what is was like growing up. One day while sitting across from my grandfather, listening to him talk about his days running the farm, I looked down at his hands. His hands are calloused and warn and hold so much character. This made me think about how much those hands have been through. Each set of hands are vastly different. Each person uses their hands in so many different ways. From nurses to farmers to therapists, all hands are unique. I thought about how neat it would be to interview people and tell their stories through their hands. I made sure each person was anonymous as a way of revealing more about each person’s life. I hope you enjoy reading about what these hands have to say.
