She toured two submarines. The USS Brill and the USS General Omar Bundy The USS Brill was being transferred to the Turkish Navy, this was her last trip. The 65 crew members saved all their money for their final party and then gave it to the "March of Dimes."

This is my memoir from a baby into adulthood. I was an Ambassador for Polio and a March of Dimes girl during the 1940's. I was adopted by two submarines the " USS General Omar Bundy" and the "USS Brill." I met many wonderful people along the way. I have a lot of pictures that I want to share and many of them are in this book. I also had the wonderful opportunity to meet John Wayne; he came to see me twice in the Children's Hospital. I wrote another book"Benjamin Lundy's Last Walk" It is an e-book. I found out he was my cousin. He did everything possible to help end slavery. I currently live in the Sierra foothills.
