À propos du livre
During March of 2005 we traveled through Italy acting as our own travel guides and took what some may think an unconventional route. We started in Palermo, Sicily and explored (and ate) our way north where we ended our trip in Venice. Along the way we had a Sicilian-standoff with a taxi driver in Palermo; visited the Greek Temples in Agrigento; traveled the beautiful Amalfi Coast; enjoyed the serenity of Sorrento; got in and out of Naples without being pick-pocketed; relived the tragedy of Pompeii; were awed by the art of Rome and Florence; relaxed in Orvieto and Siena and made our way through what can only be described as the maze that are the streets and canals of Venice.
All of the photos in this book were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 5700. Although Rob has since upgraded his camera equipment he found the CP 5700 to be an excellent traveling camera with the exception of not being wide enough to adequately cover many of Italy's historical basilica's.
