I've been a journalist of one sort or another for all of my working life. I have worked in newsrooms as a reporter and sub-editor and as a broadcaster in television and radio. Over those years I've also been able to indulge my passion for travel. My wife and I have brought up five children who are now off our hands, which has enabled us to focus on more travel, a pursuit we intend to follow for as long as we can stand on our own two feet.
