Clare was born and raised in what was then Rhodesia and is now Zimbabwe. Shortly before turning 40 she emigrated to the United Kingdom where she now lives. For more than 20 years she has been pursuing her interest in ancestry and family history. Her books are not so much written by her, but rather a collection of research and family stories. Their topics cover those that would be of interest to her family and relations, or those that have similar research interests.
