Mikala Freitas is a New York City based, award winning photographer who took her first photography class in 7th grade. She enjoyed a long career as a professional entertainer that took her to six continents; always with her camera on her shoulder. When not performing or rehearsing, Mikala would be found shooting and experiencing local color in over 80 countries to date. This is her first book in a series of "visual scents."
