I photograph fellow female University of La Verne seniors in the college of Arts and Sciences at the University of La Verne. In an informal discussion we talk about the stereotypes that society, and their own personal family, has assumed for women in their chosen career fields. The images in this book show their expressions during conversations and an formal portrait of them in their area of study. The contrast between informal and formal images of each woman show the struggle they have between their formal and informal expectations of a career choice.
