This book offers a brief view into images captured by faculty and students during a month-long study abroad program in Greece in the spring of 2016. Greece – an astonishing place with her great art and architecture, her orthodoxy, her democracy, her Olympians and her long human history of passion, philosophy and perseverance. It is a state that has led the world with its impassioned history in defiance of tyranny and continues to be an icon for humanity as it welcomes over a million Middle Eastern refugees to its shores.

This study abroad program was developed in the spirit of international cooperation between the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester and the Hellenic American University in Athens. This book is an expression of thanks for the great efforts of Rena Efstathiou, Triant Flouris, Ioanna Kopsiafti and Gary Samson in establishing this exceptional educational opportunity.
