The author, Rachelle Acosta, possesses a degree in child & family development, 12+ years working in the field in such capacities as site supervisor, lead teacher, & perinatal case manager, countless hours spent at trainings and is a proud mom. She states: "Through it all, I have found three things to hold true when looking at the growth & development of young minds. First, spending time with a child & developing a bond is of the utmost importance as it is the foundation upon which all else will be built.
