If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this book is worth 7,000. Designed with minimal text to let the photographs tell the story, follow our family as we journey from the midwest to the west coast to show our children the ocean for the first time. We flew 1400 miles and drove another 1,000 over the course of our 10 day adventure down the Oregon Coast, through the Redwoods of northern California, and back up towards Portland and the Columbia River Gorge. Our boots got wet, our sweet tooth's satisfied, our pockets full of sand, but most of all we returned with memories to last a lifetime. We'll use this book as a reminder of all the sights we saw on the trip.
