Noted for being one of the fastest growing and most successful airshows in the country, the California Capital Airshow continues to impress into it's 10th year.

Following a stellar lineup in 2010, showcasing the largest gathering of P-38's since WWII, and then again in 2011 with an emotional tribute to 9/11 and a jubilant celebration of the Centennial of Naval Aviation, the 2012 show left spectators in awe. In 2013, CCA memorialized the Berlin Airlift by paying homage to Retired Air Force Colonel Gail Halvorsen, also known as the original Candy Bomber.

This year, the California Capital Airshow went all out with their first ever night show as well as hosting not one, but two world-renowned jet demonstration teams; The United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. In addition to the thrilling formation aerobatics, the Rancho Cordova-based show also hosted the United States Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet demonstration, the amazing Wall of Fire, the enormous C-5M Galaxy and B-52 Superfortress as well as the B-17 Flying Fortress! Civilian acts included Rob Holland, Gene Soucy, Matt Younkin, Julie Clark, Jeff Boerboon, John Klatt and Kent Lane.
