À propos du livre
Dear Joey, Lizzie, and Christian,
Since the day you each drew your first breath, I have loved you. I love being your Mom-Mom as much as I love being your mom’s mom. I enjoyed doing all kinds of things with you; playing Hide-and-Seek, board games, card games, looking for seashells on the beach, jumping the waves in the ocean, riding amusements, and eating ice cream and pizza on the boardwalk. I’ve sunk battleships with Joey, dressed Barbie with Lizzie, and dunked baskets with Christian.
I went to as many sporting events and activities as I could attend. I’ve enjoyed watching Joey play soccer and basketball and even run track; swimming, tennis and gymnastics with Lizzie; and basketball, soccer and baseball with Christian. I’ve watched and cared for all three of you since you were born and attended so many of your school events.
So I decided to write you a Mom-Mom storybook. I hope you keep it as a reminder of the stories I told you. Someday when you have children of your own, I hope you will also tell them stories. Stories and your imagination can take you anywhere in the world you want to go, and far beyond.
I hope you laugh as you read these stories. I tried to capture your personalities on these pages; Joey, the oldest, always trying to be a leader; Lizzie, always trying to do the right thing; and Christian, playful and always enjoying a good snack.
You are much more than I could ever write about and more events will happen to you than I could ever imagine. I hope as you grow older you will all follow your dreams and become the people you were meant to be. And always remember, I will love you forever.
Love,
Mom-Mom
