À propos du livre
In the 1950s, Cleveland was thriving as a city with 980,000 residents. Unfortunately, the population has decreased to 380,000 residents over the last several decades. Never the less, the future for Cleveland appears bright with a current influx of residents, particularly young adults. This body of work captures a sense of the tribulations that Cleveland has faced over the last half century. In order to visually depict these trials, I juxtaposed photographs of Cleveland between 1890 and 1980 alongside their appearance today. Hopefully, the current population increase is a sign of Cleveland’s renaissance.
