This intriguing book combines 125 large pages of colour photographs and diary extracts to describe an amazing journey through the mountains of Kashmir in 1991. This adventure was undertaken at a time when the conflict between the ethnic Muslims and the ruling Indian government was becoming ferocious. Paul Hutson used a Leica 35mm film camera to photograph local people with sensitivity and insight and his diary extracts make fascinating reading.
