I was born in Carmarthen in deepest West Wales and have lived in Cardiff for over twenty years I have retired early from work as I have had Parkinson's for about fifteen years. I have written poetry on and off for many years, only recently has it become my main hobby. I draw my inspiration from the things my children and grandchildren say. Also some poems about the lighter side of having Parkinson's. Yes, there is always a lighter side if you if you look hard enough. I believe I had a choice become depressed or get happy I chose happy. I am also an amateur stand up comedian performing my Parkinson's set around the Cardiff area. My poetry is as the title suggests mostly humorous but occasionally I drop in a serious poem or two.
