Whether grinding their way up Tennessee Pass or battling the 52-mile long uphill challenge between Denver and Palmer Lake, photographing the Rio Grande was always fun.

My husband, Dave drove truck in the U.S. for 40 years with over 3-million safe miles. He started taking photos of trucks as a young boy in the 1950s, inspired by his mother who took photos of his dad's trucks beginning in the late 1940s. He passed away in 2019. His wife survives.
