This collection of photographs, which I call "soulscapes", is a selection of some of my favorite images and represents an evolution of  vision, awareness and passion for my craft that spans over two decades of my life. When I look at them now, I realize that the inspiration I felt while taking each photograph did not come from me...but rather through me.

 

Like many others, I believe each one of us will take both a spiritual and intellectual journey through life. When I reflect on my work, I see how each image has become a marker for my own spiritual awakening...not a flash of light or a moment of enlightenment, but rather a gradual step by step uncovering of my true self.  Like my own metamorphosis, I am struck by the subtle changes in my photographs over time, noticing that each new image imparts a little more technical sophistication and a little more "soul", revealing, I hope, a bit more of myself as I continue to grow as a human being.
