À propos du livre
Whether you have a sleeve of remembrance or a dime sized memento, the
principal reason we decide to mark ourselves with custom art is to tell a story. As
human beings, we experience many things throughout our lives that leave lasting
impressions. Some of these impressions make it on to our skin as a way to hold
memories close to us, express who we are, where we come from, or our profound
thoughts and beliefs. This photographic album focuses not only on the ink, but also on
the person wearing it and the story behind it. By putting a face to these personal
illustrations, these photographs demonstrate how some people have portrayed
themselves and their experiences throughout life using indelible ink.
