NYC-based historian, photographer and jack-of-all-trades Nicholas Senn created www.historyslens.com in 2014 as a way to showcase his love of history and photography. His work seeks to detail interesting moments in history through beautiful photographs. A native of Chicago, Nicholas moved to Manhattan in 2003. Visiting friends seek him as a tour guide due to his extensive knowledge of the greater NYC area, as well as world history. While the five boroughs serve as a canvas for much of his work, he travels whenever possible – both domestically and internationally – to capture new subjects.
