You saw first-hand what can happen in a pop-culture world where emotion and subjectivity – fueled by an unscrupulous media - seemingly trump rationality and objectivity. Clearly, today's students are losing touch with their own rich history as activists have infiltrated and are re-defining key aspects of history to achieve a political goal were separation, isolation, victimization and division trump unification. And this trend is dangerous.. as the old saying goes, “United We Stand, Divided We Fall.”

In Lancaster’s case you are on the verge of losing your unique red-painted warrior words and symbols while reducing the shared history of your region to negative hyperbole. By now, you all know that Redskins were a unique and very important Native American Warrior class whose ideas, tactics and thoughts on governance helped establish this nation – a great nation we are all citizens of. To give up and let this phenomenal history go based on a vocal and politically connected minority's obvious and harmful misinterpretation of a Redskin should not go unchallenged.
