Five Boroughs Foundation of Photography is a not-for-profit 501c3 registered organization that was started in 2007 with a focus on providing photography instruction to children in New York and in select cities around the world. We achieve this by partnering with photographers and schools to lead ongoing photography programs, sponsoring one off special programs with established organizations whose cause aligns with ours, and by leading one day excursions focused on specific topics, ranging from architecture photography to candid street photography.

Our mission is to introduce photography into the lives of children and to allow them to build a greater understanding of themselves, their individual potential and their city.

Since inception we have worked with over 170 students from over 7 different schools located within the five boroughs of New York City.
