I came to Paris expecting to find the city I'd read about and seen in photographs and films; but that Paris no longer existed when I got there; if it ever really existed at all. I started off by looking for Henry Miller's Paris, and that of Modigliani; but when I overcame the frustration of not finding either of those versions of the city, I stumbled, purely by chance, on a Paris of my own, which only I could know. In this album, I have attempted to capture and depict some of that Paris.
