Originally created for distribution to elementary school libraries in Montgomery County Maryland Public Schools, "Our Stories" is a collection of 17 stories by community members, children age 7 to adult, who have a sibling with special needs. Each story captures the joys and hardships of growing up with a brother or sister with Autism, Down Syndrome, and/or other developmental disabilities. Each author also reflects on moments when others in their school community have been or can be helpful and supportive. Enjoy.
