A Monkey is reminded of a lotus because his mother monkey would wear a lotus in her hair. Otis lives in the rainforest and goes hunting for a lotus. He makes friends with Jack a bumblebee, and they search together. They come upon a turtle Thorton, of the rainforest. They almost give up.
