The dream to tell my mother's story has been unfolding over several years. When I was doing the juggling act of raising our daughters, teaching high school, and above all being a devoted wife, I couldn't begin to focus on her story. But, we began with Mother recording events and highlights. David always loved her story of going out dancing on a Saturday night and then driving home past the three cemeteries where her husbands were buried. She said good night to Gale in Grant City, Milo in Redding, and Francis in Parnell. We just had to write it down. I am glad we did. Dixie
